Group Registration

  • Group registration is required for those who wish to use the facility exclusively.
  • To register, please fill out the "Group Registration Application Form" and send it by mail or bring it in person to the general reception desk.
  • After registration, you will receive a "Group Registration Notice" from our facility.

Group Registration Criteria

When applying for organization registration, organizations must meet and be able to comply with all of the following criteria.

  • The purpose of use must be for groups of about 10 people for the purpose of swimming-related practice (improvement of swimming ability, technique, etc.).
  • However, this shall not apply in the case of educational activities such as club activities at elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, and universities.
  • The organization must have an instructional system (number of instructors, etc.) in place to ensure the safety and management of participants.
  • Registration may be denied to organizations that charge membership fees or other fees.
  • Registration may be cancelled if the activities of the group significantly interfere with the operation of the facility, or if the group fails to comply with the above items.
    In addition, organizations that have had their registration revoked will not be allowed to re-register.

Points to keep in mind when using this service

The following items must be observed when using the facilities

  • Activities must be conducted in accordance with the precautions for use set forth by the swimming facility.
  • At least one person who has a qualification recognized by the Japan Water Federation or the Japan Amateur Swimming Association (swimming-related), or an equivalent qualification, must be able to participate in the activities on the day of the event. The equivalent person must have the skills, etc. to ensure safety during the activity. For elementary school, junior high school, and high school club activities, the swimming advisor should be read as a qualified swimmer.
  • The use of a leader is always accompanied by an advisor to provide guidance.
    If you will be late due to urgent business, please notify the swimmers in advance of your estimated time of arrival.
    No entry will be allowed without notification. Even in the case of notification, entry into the water is not permitted.

How to make a reservation

(1)Dedicated use for tournaments, etc. (when either the entire facility or any of the pools is used exclusively)

  • Please note that priority will be given to tournaments recognized by the city.
  • Applications for conventions, etc. will be accepted between the 1st and 20th of the month one year prior to the month in which the desired date of the event falls. (excluding holidays).
  • To apply, please fill out the "Application Form" and "Details" and send it by mail, fax, or e-mail, or apply in person at the general reception desk.
  • If there are overlapping requested dates, a lottery will be held at the facility to determine the date.
  • After a decision has been made for the group to use the facility, the facility will send you a "Confirmation Letter of the Convention".
    ※Confirmation of the tournament will be mailed two months prior to the desired date of the tournament.
  • Please hold a preliminary meeting with the facility manager as soon as possible after receiving the convention confirmation application form.
  • After the meeting, the facility will send you a "Facility Use Permit" form, and you must pay the usage fee at least 15 days prior to the event. In principle, the fee is non-refundable.

(2)General exclusive use (for exclusive use of some courses, studios, etc.)

  • As a general rule, when there are no competitions, and when there are no obstacles to the program, etc., the courses and studios may be used exclusively. Please check the website or contact the facility for information on the availability of reservations for competitions, etc.
  • Applications for general use will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from two months prior to the month in which the desired date of use falls. However, in the case of camps, applications will be accepted from the first day of the seventh month prior to the month in which the desired date of use falls until the end of the month. If there is a conflict between the requested dates, a lottery will be held by the 5th of the following month. After that, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. (Excluding holidays).
  • To apply, please fill out the "Application Form for Use of Facilities" and send it by mail, fax, e-mail, or directly to the general reception desk in the case of a camp.Applications after the decision has been made will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by fax or e-mail.
    For general use only, except for training camps, applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by fax or e-mail.
  • After a decision is made, the facility will send you a "Facility Exclusive Use Permit" and you must pay the usage fee at least 5 days prior to the date of use. If the cancellation is made less than 5 days prior to the date of use, the fee will be charged.

Precautions at the time of the convention

Facilities and loaner equipment

  • Please make a meeting with the facility manager at least one month prior to the event to confirm hours of use, facilities, equipment, etc.
  • The organizer is responsible for setting up and taking down rental equipment, etc., in the presence and under the direction of the facility manager.
  • If the organizer damages or loses facilities or equipment due to reasons attributable to him/herself, he/she will be required to compensate for the damage.

Cleaning and Waste Disposal

  • The organizer is responsible for cleaning up and disposing of garbage to restore the area to its original state.
  • After the tournament, the organizer will inspect the cleanup and waste disposal together with the organizer, and if necessary, will request cleanup work or the facility will take care of the cleanup work.
    In such cases, you will be responsible for the actual costs incurred.

Parking Lot

  • Organizers are requested to make every effort to prevent accidents and problems.
  • Please appoint a person responsible for parking lot management and manage the parking lot on the day of the tournament.
  • If a parking lot attendant cannot be assigned, the organizer is responsible for hiring a security company designated by the facility.
  • The facility manager is not responsible for any accidents or problems in the parking lot.

Responsibility of the organizer for accident prevention

  • When using the facilities, please assign an appropriate person in charge and give sufficient consideration to safety management, including accident prevention.
  • Medical supplies and other items to be used during the tournament should be prepared by the organizer.
  • Please ensure that insurance is purchased in advance and that doctors and nurses are available on the day of the tournament so that they can respond promptly in the event of an accident.
  • The facility manager assumes no responsibility for any accidents that may occur.

Theft Prevention, etc.

  • Organizers are requested to assign a necessary and substantial number of attendants to prevent accidents and theft, and to provide appropriate guidance to participants and spectators.
  • Each organization is responsible for its own cash and valuables.
  • Organizers are requested to post a lost and found staff at the reception desk, etc.
  • The organizer must inspect and check the venue and other facilities at the end of the tournament.
  • The organizer is responsible for the safekeeping and management of found items, etc.
  • The facility management is not responsible for any accidents or theft.

Fire, Earthquake and Disaster Prevention

  • The organizer must decide in advance who will be in charge of disaster countermeasures and other necessary staff members, and assign them to the event.

Use of the Diving Pool

Use of the diving pool

  • A registration card will be issued to those who meet the registration requirements, and permission will be granted to use the diving pool for the purpose of practicing events that meet the registration requirements.
  • The use of the diving pool and the use of special equipment, etc., may be permitted for special reasons when approved by the facility. (However, if there is a safety or sanitation issue, it is not allowed.)

Registration Requirements

  • Completion of a diving class conducted by this facility or another prefecture.
  • Completion of the training course (certification test) organized by the Japan Swimming Federation (JSF) Diving Committee.
  • Completion of an artistic swimming, water polo, or Japanese swimming class conducted by this facility or another prefecture.
  • Athletes must be registered with the Japan Swimming Federation.
  • Swimmers must be under the guidance of an instructor who is active in a swimming federation or other organization. However, the swimmer must be accompanied by an instructor.
  • Other qualifications recognized by the facility. However, they are limited to the applicable competition events.

Registration Procedures

  • Please fill out the required information on the Diving Pool and Individual Registration Card and present your certification or certificate of completion to receive your Diving Pool and Individual Registration Card.
  • The individual registration card will be photocopied and kept by the facility as a registration ledger.
  • Diving pool users must hand their individual registration card to the attendant (at the main pool control) to have their identity verified. After use, please notify the attendant and receive your registration card.
  • The height of the diving board and the diving board is designated on the individual registration card according to the skill level of the user. (See Individual Registration Card for Diving (Pink))
  • Diving pool and individual registration cards must be renewed at the end of the year in which they expire.

Precautions

  • The diving pool is not available for use during the proposed program conducted by the facility. In the event that there is a conflict between the practice use and the use by a dedicated group, priority will be given to the dedicated use.
  • Registered dives must use only the designated diving board indicated on the individual registration card. However, this does not apply when accompanied by an instructor.
  • If there are many users registered to jump in, please line up in order and check safety carefully before jumping in.
  • If there is any danger in the use of the pool, the pool staff will provide guidance.
  • Artistic Swimming, Water Polo and Japanese Swimming users are not allowed to go up to the diving board.
  • For water polo competition use, shooting with the ball and passing practice that may cause problems in other areas is prohibited. Dribbling/juggling practice is allowed, but the use of goals is prohibited.
  • For water polo events, balls may be brought in.
  • If you wish to borrow a water polo ball and water polo cap, please indicate on the rental form. After using the water polo ball and cap, please wash them in the shower and hang them in the designated area.
  • If more than one competitor is using the space at the same time, the use of the space must be discussed between the parties concerned.
